I Hiked,
Deeper and deeper
into one of the
7 natural wonders of the world
taking in the spectacular
beauty with every step I took!
Until,
Reluctantly it was time to hike back out.
Bravely I started marching up!
The march turned to a slow walk,
then stumbling, and ended in a desperate crawl.
With my tounge dragging in the dirt,
I cursed the day I was born.
But then,
just when I thought I was done for,
I reached the top of
The GRAND CANYON
... and YES, I survived
