Merrry Christmas

The Weeks family had a wonderful Christmas. It was very nice to spend time with Papa and Nana, and Patrick and Paige. Kathrine and Addison were so excited to wake up and open presents. Their new kitchen wasn't wrapped because it took Dad five hours to set it up. But it was worth it just to see the look on their faces. Kathrine is loving to iron her clothes and wash dishes. Addison is happy to just open and close the oven and dishwasher. Hopefully soon we will get to eat their first creation with their new kitchen .

Addison received a cool train that helps her learn letters and it is fun to ride on. Kathrine is still our little princess and always loves to dress up. They both got new purses to carry around. It was so much fun watching them open their gifts.

Christmas time is always a good time to hang out and play games. Here Papa is trying out the Wii, and he got the hang of it pretty good. His Wii age is 72, not bad for the first time, but he did score a silver medal in pool. And we also had fun playing board games.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. The weather outside was beautiful with lots of snow and some fresh snow that fell today.
So Kathrine asked us if she could go outside and we said, no sweety it is cold outside. She responded with "But mommy, I want to get cold". She keeps us entertained.

Never a dull moment with Patrick and Paige. You can decide and what to say about these photos.

Merry Christmas

Only two words for us, "cabin fever". The snow came and hit us hard. Luckily Patrick and Paige came over to play, but we still had to get out and do some shopping. The weather can never stop the Christmas shopping.

Kathrine and Addison were begging us to let them outside, so finally we bundled them up and sent them outside. They lasted for awhile, Kathrine more than Addison, but they had fun in the snow. The snow was dry and flaky, good for skiing but not for snowman making. But we did enjoy the snow, or should we say, we are still enjoying it since it has been here for a week and will stay for a least another week.

It is time to put up the Christmas tree, and Kathrine and Addison have to help daddy. He doesn't mind. We sure picked a beautiful tree, and it always brings the spirit into our home.

We kept the Weeks and Durant family tradition alive this year, even though it was cold. We went down town on the Max train to see the giant tree. It was a lot of fun, the cold was just part of the fun. We also went to the cool toy store and found some toys we all enjoyed when we were younger. Kathrine loves to spend time with her cousins, but Addison doesn't like the stroller.

Oh Christmas tree. We have to keep the northwest tradition going by going out and cutting down our Christmas tree. We have a friend who has a farm, he is the one on the tractor. We found the perfect tree. Kathrine had her choice, but it wasn't big enough. We had a lot of fun.

Kathrine and Addison

Our sweet Kathrine finished her first dance class and she loved it. She knew when it was Tuesday and that she was going to dance classs. She sure loves to dance, both tap, hip hop and contemporary. She is even picking up singing. She is joy in our family.
And look at out cute little Addison, getting soo big. She loves to cheese at the camera, (finally). We love her hair and hope it stays currly.

The girls having fun

Paige was so kind enough to invite Kathrine and Addison over to her house to play with her nieces. The girls had so much fun playing with older girls and Paige's nieces were very nice to them. They painted nails,
played with the kitties and just talked about girly stuff.

The leaves have fallen again.

We sure do love our shady yard but, as you can see it comes with a price tag. Every year the leaves fall, and fall and they just keep falling, seriously. At least the girls and Patrick help. Can't wait until next fall.
