Yummy pancakes

Mommy is always creative with the girls and this time she decided to spice up the usual pancakes and make them into hearts. The girls loved them and still ask for heart pancakes, but there is always love in mommies food.

A Day with the Ducks!

Katrhine, Addison and I took advantage of the nice weather last week and headed to one of our favorite parks. Common Wealth duck pond id so much fun! We love to walk around the lake, chase the ducks, run from the geese and play on the swings!
This was Addison's first time to actually be able to chase the ducks. She loved every second of it and love watching the ducks waddle around her.

Here the girls are chasing all the ducks! Look at Kate... she is totally power walking! hahaha and Addison was trying so hard to keep up with her.


I made the girls walk around the lake once before we went to the play park and to Kate it seemed like an endless journey. She quite frequently asked if we were almost there. In the end I think it was worth the wait for her. They had such a great time!

Kate loves to swing! The higher the better! She can never get enough!

Addison likes to stay low and slow on the swing. But even though she's barely moving she still has a great time!!

Reading to baby 'Drina

Stephanie came over to do mommies hair and while that was being done Kathrine took up the role as babysitter. As you can see she showed her the pizza ads and then proceeded to read to her the story of the mermaid Ariel. What a good little babysitter she was.

Another cute idea Mommy

Mommy came up with this cute idea to take puff pastry and cut them into fun shapes for the girls. Kids are so fun and easy to please. The best part was that they were so delicious. Keep up the good work mommy.

Bedtime

Daddy was cuddling with Kathrine, trying to get her to sleep, and they had a cute conversation.
"Daddy, did you fix all the cars today?" Kathrine asks.
"Yes sweetie, I fixed all the cars today" Daddy replies.
"Ah, thanks so much", Kathrine responds.
"Was the car black?", Kathrine asks.
"Yes one of the cars was black" Daddy replies.
"Daddy, can we buy a doggy?" Kathrine asks.
"We will see" Daddy answers.
Daddy enjoyed the little chat with his princess, and of course, it was more precious being there and seeing her expressions.

Addison is still learning to close her eyes when we rinse her hair. It sure is funny watching her face.

Just some fun pictures

We were bored this evening and decided to take some random fun pictures. Man what was life like 10 years ago without digital cameras and picasa.........boring and expensive. We have taken so many pictures, it's awesome.

The kitchen counter

We have had many fun memories at the kitchen counter. Sometimes they have been frustrating trying to get the girls to eat their food. But you can tell by all the pictures that there are more fun times than sad times at the "kitchen counter".

Goose sure does get the spotlight, but he likes it. Mommy and Kathrine look very pretty in these pictures.

Valentine's Day

Nana and Papa came to spend Valentine's Day with Kathrine and Addison. They had soo much fun making cake and eating it too.

This is our Addison being crazy and cute once again.

On Wednesday, Daddy, Addison, and Kathrine were not feeling well. Good thing we all had Mommy to take care of us. We love our Mommy.

We are having soo much fun with our new cat, Goose. She loves to ride on our shoulders, chase the kids and play with Addison's Nino.

A Tribute to Love

Mark and I are coming up on our 4 year Anniversary so I thought I would be fun to post some pictures of us before we met and also us dating and falling in love.

Taking our engagment pictures was so much fun! For once I was the funny one making faces behind Marks back and hiding from him. It was great and something that I will never forget.

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Looking at the bed...me.

10. Who cooks more? me but when he cooks it is really good.

16. What do you like to do together? We love to watch movies together, go camping and just about anything couples can do together. He is my best friend.

19. How did you meet? We met at institute which is funny considering how long we have been in the SAME WARD!! hahaha... but he is 3 years older than me so it kind of makes sense.

20. Who asked who out first? I don't think either of us... we just started hanging out then it turned to dating...
21. Who kissed who first? He kissed me first. :)

22. Who proposed? He did... it was on November 27, 2004. He called me at work to have me go over to his apartment. When I walked in there were candles and balloons everywhere. He told me that I had to find the ring (which was in a balloon). It was the fisrt balloon I picked up... yeah I was lucky and really happy so finding it wasn't hard. It was so funny... he was a bit disappointed that it didn't take me longer to find.

23. His best features? Wow... there's a lot. I love his blue eyes and the wrinkles around his eyes when he smiles. His strong broad shoulders, and his cute little butt. :)
24. What is his greatest quality? the way he loves me. I know that he would do anything for me and also for the girls
